Envision Networks® is thrilled to unveil new features for The Rooster, a multi-tasking content resource for radio stations that provides daily prep and actualities. These new features will make it even easier for users to organize and access content 24/7 at GotRooster.com.
“With our latest updates to The Rooster, we’re continuing to make our website more interactive and more user-focused. One of the most-requested features is a new drag-and-drop category menu. Users can put our written prep into whatever order they prefer so the Buzz Page is a representation of what content is most important to their show. Users can also save their content settings so the site remembers their new, customized layout,” Jason Hillery said.
The new drag & drop feature lets users rearrange categories and subcategories on the Buzz Page so the news they want most appears at the top of the page. Even after users sign out for the day, The Rooster saves any changes made so it will appear in the same order the next morning.
The new expand and collapse option on each story allows users to quickly expand stories to read on-air and collapse them out of the way once they’re done. Additional new display options let users customize how they view stories on the Buzz Page and in the bookmarks section. The short viewing option lets users skim through the headlines quickly, the detail view gives a glimpse at the first few lines of each story and the expanded view displays the entirety of each story. For users who prefer their news on paper, The Rooster has made it even easier to read with page breaks added to each story when it’s printed out.
In a world where morning shows are doing more with less staff, The Rooster delivers all of the on-air and online content that busy, overworked radio talent need in one place. With radio veterans Mike Marino (creator of The Jammin’ format and former PD at KHHT-FM/Los Angeles) and Jason Hillery (creator of RadioCurrents.Com, current PD at Midwest Communications/Green Bay, WI and former PD of WIXX-FM/Green Bay, WI) gathering quality content behind the scenes, GotRooster.com is a constant stream of topic-starters, daily audio, timely produced bits, web-friendly content, and the most up-to-the-minute news stories.
The Rooster is the go-to service for all of your morning show needs. Never miss an important story with the Buzz Page that highlights the hottest trending reports happening now.
