Comedic Actor Promotes Captain Underpants Movie

(JUNE 2017) Comedic actor Ed Helms spoke with affiliates of Envision Networks®’ Guest Services about his new movie, Captain Underpants the First Epic Movie, in theaters June 2.  Helms is best known for his work as Andy “Nard-Dog” Bernard on the sitcom/mockumentary The Office, for his role as Dr. Stu Price in The Hangover, and as a correspondent on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
In an interview with Kallaway on the Rise, Helms discussed one of his favorite roles.  “A lot of people love Vacation.  That’s one of my favorites,” he said.
He also talked about the role he is recognized for the most.
“Probably The Office [is what I get recognized for] the most.  I think because it’s still on TV. It still runs in syndication, so it’s fresher for people. But then of course people ask me what happened to my tooth.  They don’t recognize me with all of my teeth,” Helms continued, referring to his role in The Hangover.
