Boxer turned cultural icon exclusive interview via Envision Networks® guest booking service
(February 2018) Legendary heavyweight champ turned actor Mike Tyson recently interviewed with affiliates of Envision Networks®’ Guest Services. Tyson, known for both his extensive boxing career and eccentric comedy roles in The Hangover and Mike Tyson Mysteries, spoke with Bull, Rob & Kris on WGRF-FM/Buffalo about getting recognized in public and his iconic face tattoo.
When asked if the instantly recognizable facial tattoo makes it harder to go incognito in public, Tyson said, “You know something that’s weird about that, I thought I would be special, a guy with a tattoo on his face, but there’s so many, such an abundance of people with tattoos on their face now so it’s not even special anymore.”
Tyson also talked to the 97 Rock Morning Bull Show about how he came to act as a fictionalized version of himself in the film The Hangover, claiming he didn’t know anything about the movie when he accepted the role.
