Jacobs Media Corp. stations become latest Envision Networks® affiliates

(May 2018) —EnvisionVirtualServices Weather Reports is airing on three Gainesville, Georgia stations. Envision Networks®’ remote weather service will provide the three Jacobs Media Corporation owned stations with fully produced weather reports for the north Georgia region.

Joining the growing lineup of stations carrying EnvisionVirtualServices Weather:

  • WDUN 550 AM
  • WDUN 102.9 FM
  • WGGA 94.5 FM/1240 AM The Lake


Wetherbee knows weather
WDUN-AM/FM and WGGA-AM will have their weather reports done by meteorologist John Wetherbee. Big John Wetherbee is a sealed and certified radio and TV meteorologist, whose resume includes Chief Meteorologist role for the CBS TV station in Atlanta as well as TV stations in Nashville, Chattanooga and Savannah, and radio stations in many markets including Chicago, Indianapolis, Columbus and Atlanta.

Wetherbee is sealed by the American Meteorological Society (AMS) where he has served as president of a local chapter and certified by the National Weather Association (NWA) where he continues to serve on the national broadcast committee.
