Wanna Bet?! launched on 103.9 FM LI News Radio in Las Vegas in September 2018, making it the first ever national sports betting show to air on terrestrial radio.

Tom Barton was the first person to legally place a bet in the U.S. outside of Nevada, when he beat out the Governor of Delaware and others vying to be the first. His $1,000 bet was placed on the New York Yankees to win the World Series.
